All Pray, All Power. No Prayer, No Power.
In Acts 1:9, we are promised power – the power of the Holy Spirit. But sometimes our desire for power can leave us with some wrong ideas about Jesus’ intention in giving His people power. The power of the Holy Spirit wasn’t intended to be merely a boost, a jump, a battery recharge, nor was the Spirit intended to be a means for power in the sense of wealth, prosperity, or prestige. No, the Holy Spirit was intended to give us to do even greater things than Jesus Himself, as scripture tells us. Power to do what? To witness and spread like wildfire the good news of Salvation to a world that desperately needs saving. Will you harness the full potential of the Holy Spirit today?
