How We Change

How We Change

“Not just my feet, but my hands and head too.” Peter’s response when Jesus told him “If I don’t wash you, you have no part with Me” is powerful. It shows the immediate need for all to be washed by Christ, cleansed from sin and made into a new creation. It is also a powerful reminder of the humility in character that marks the Christian believer. When you give control to God, you allow Him to wash all of you. Have you given God full control?

This Is Your Time

This Is Your Time

Jesus asked an interesting question to a man who was crippled for 38 years. His question: “Do you want to get well.” Almost seems like a silly question. Who in their right mind would want to remain sick? The same question is asked of us today, but it’s not so silly. Do we want to get well, free of the infirmity of sin? Jesus offers complete healing and transformation. Your time is now. How will you respond?

Thirsty Makers

Thirsty Makers

When describing the roll of the Christian, Jesus said “you are the salt of the earth.” Salt, not water, is how he referred to us. And what does salt do? It makes people thirsty. Jesus, God’s Sacrificial Lamb

Jesus, God’s Sacrificial Lamb

What will draw others to Jesus? Is it the fact that we celebrate the sacrifice? Or could it be the transformation that results in the Christian’s life because of that sacrifice? What if the world saw you as the new creation Christ’s sacrifice brought about?

Choices

Choices

Choices – every day we make them. Our choices have an effect, on you and on others. Though we all have different choices to make, we are all faced with the same choice about eternal life – whether to choose God and be saved, or to choose the enemy, and be lost. How will you choose? When will you choose? And how will your family be affected by the choice you make and when you make it. If you hear God calling, do not delay choosing Him today.

Jesus Before Pilate

Jesus Before Pilate

You’re in the courtroom with Jesus and Pilate and the chief priests. The world is saying, “No good. We don’t need him. We’re done with him.” There are people in your world who are watching you. They’re making their decision passively, without engaging you. These people are on the fence, ready to make a choice for Jesus, and they’re watching you. What are they seeing?
